Pray for Jackie! EXPECT MIRACLES!!! Jackie will be pushed in the White Rock Marathon December 13 by a relay team put together by agroup from Fit-n-Wise. Pray for good weather. Posted at 7:25 PM Dec 1
Wednesday 4/14/10 6:33 am. Nothing major going on, just staying with the routine. Jackie lost some weight during her issues earlier this year so we have started putting that back on her, she needs 7 or 8 pounds. She is continuing to do well with speech therapy and pt and ot have done well to get her back to her normal range of motion. She has Botox injections in her muscles coming up, it is painful but it has been over a year so we are hoping it will give her some relief in her arms and hands. Jax is much happier with the weather, she hates the cold. Thanks for the prayer. _______________________________________________________________________ Friday 2/19/10 9:32 am. Jax has been doing well, no issues with the fluid in her abdomen. She has a CT on Monday just for followup. Therapy has been going good, she ate 3 oz of sweet potato the other day, that is 30 to 40 swallows we used to be happy with 10 to 15. It is great exercise for her muscles in her throat. Jackie's therapists have the patience of Job, God bless them. _____________________________________________________________________ Monday 2/1/10 11:10 pm. I know it has been a while and a lot of people have been asking how Jax is doing and honestly I did not think you all kept up with this site so please accept my apology. Unfortunately, she has spent 16 days in the hospital this month because of fluid in her abdomen. The doctors have never found a source or reason but it caused problems with her digestion and renal function. As soon as the fluid was controlled all problems disappeared and she was fine. This could very well have been a one time thing we just do not know. they ruled out liver kidney and heart problems and many other things but were never able to pinpoint what the problem was. She is on no medication or any other treatment and she has had no problem for two 2 weeks. She is back at therapy and doing well, she is a little stiff after 2 weeks of minimal workouts in the hospitals. Jackie has a new physical therapist and while change is scary because Kelli was so great with Jax, God put it on Tammy's heart (she was also on the relay team that pushed Jax in the marathon) to step in and it is obvious she cares greatly for Jackie. We have been very blessed with the people that care for her. Please pray for her continued health and care and thank you all for loving Jackie! EXPECT MIRACLES! ________________________________________________________________________ Thursday 12/10/09 6:30 am. Channel had a good clip on Jax last night. they came and talked about her being pushed in the White Rock Marathon on Sunday. The team is ready and we are excited to see how she does. Her sleep schedule is back to normal, even without help from sleep aids. Jax is doing great, therapy continues and Monday she has her first acupuncture appointment since returning. Pray for good weather on Sunday. Pray for Jackie! EXPECT MIRACLES __________________________________________________________________________Wednesday 11/18/09 8:07 am. Jackie is home, her sleep schedule is upside down but she will get there. Jax did very well on the flights, she was much more comfortable than on the trip over there. it will take a week or so to get the schedule right but she will not start therapy until after Thanksgiving. Kurrie, Weise, Lori and Kimberly met her in San Francisco and she was obviously excited to see familiar faces. Pray for Jackie! EXPECT MIRACLES.
